A. All members of the Redmond Disability Board shall serve for a two-year term; provided, that for first terms, the law enforcement officer elected shall serve for a one-year term as designated by the Mayor, and all other appointees shall serve two-year terms. First terms shall commence as of November 1, 1979. Members whose present terms expire on December 31st shall serve until March 31st and all successive terms shall commence on April 1st. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term of the member whose death, resignation or removal creates the vacancy. Each member shall hold office until a successor is appointed and confirmed. (Ord. 2581 § 3 (part), 2011).
