On or before the first day of March every year, the City shall pay such amount as shall be due from it, as established and set forth in RCW 41.24.030 and 41.24.031 and as amended, for the purpose of providing protection for all its fire fighters and their families from death or disability arising in performance of their duties as fire fighters.
