A. Any individual who applies for a business license for a public massage establishment must, in addition to meeting the licensing requirements of RMC Chapter 5.04, provide directly to the City Finance Director evidence that the individual has received a State of Washington massage practitioner’s license pursuant to Chapter 18.108 RCW, which license shall be current and in effect unless such person is exempt from the State license requirement. The application for a City business license under RMC Chapter 5.04 must state specifically the applicant intends to operate the business as a public massage establishment. Additionally, any individual rendering services at the public massage establishment must also possess a State of Washington massage practitioner’s license.

B. Any individual who applies for a business license for a public reflexology establishment must, in addition to meeting the licensing requirements of RMC Chapter 5.04, provide directly to the City Finance Director evidence that the individual has received a State of Washington reflexology certification pursuant to Chapter 18.108 RCW, which certification shall be current and in effect unless such person is exempt from the State license requirement. The application for a City business license under RMC Chapter 5.04 must state specifically the applicant intends to operate the business as a public reflexology establishment. Additionally, any individual rendering services at the public reflexology establishment must also possess a State of Washington reflexology certification.
