A. The term of any board member is three years, with an opportunity to renew for a second three-year term. Any member appointed prior to April 1, 2023, shall complete their four-year term, if then reappointed, shall serve a three-year term. Vacancies that occur other than through the expiration of terms shall be filled for the unexpired term by appointment of the Mayor, subject to confirmation by majority vote of the City Council. Members may be removed by the Mayor for inefficiency, neglect of duty, misfeasance or malfeasance in office, or incapacity. Each member shall hold office until a successor is appointed and confirmed.
